GETTING STARTED

NEW TO CROSSFIT?

That’s not a problem! Everyone was new once, and you’ll soon feel at home in our fantastic gym, where you won’t just find excellent equipment and highly-qualified trainers, but also a great community and that priceless feeling of being part of a team.
You don’t have to be ultra-fit to come along, though if you are, great! We can help you whatever your fitness level is right now, and you’ll soon see it improve. And don’t feel shy if you can’t do what everyone else can do – the only person you should measure yourself against is you yesterday. Though there’s nothing wrong with a little healthy competition to make you try just that little bit harder.
Got goals? Great. Our brilliant coaches can help you reach and exceed them, and if you don’t have a clue what your goals are, our trainers will help you work out what you want and how to get there.
With a whole variety of classes and workouts to try, and a friendly community feel that’ll have you feeling amazing when you come out of the gym, the only thing stopping you from getting fit is you!

HAVE A QUESTION?

CrossFit is for all abilities and you can start off small and scale up to suit your fitness level. It means you’ll never get stale or stuck, and there’s always something new to try to increase your fitness level.

As many as you like! With our monthly pass you have unlimited access to come whenever you want to, but your coach will advise you about rest days and work out what’s best for you and your goals.

It stands for General Physical Preparedness. We have a general workout that everyone does, no matter what their level of fitness, and what you do, with the guidance of our coaches, is scale it up or down to suit where you are.

INDUCTION

We offer a long induction that’s more like a course over three evenings to ensure you get to know everyone, and you know how to do all the fundamentals of CrossFit.

GET STARTED

Once you’ve had your induction, you have unlimited access with our membership and can come to classes and open gym sessions as often as you like.

OUR CLASSES EXPLAINED

WOD

The ‘Workout Of The Day’. This is the ‘CrossFit Class’ from which all the other classes are based. Each WOD will do the same class on that day, following a 6-month cycle so you get fitter, stronger, and faster, whilst allowing for recovery and working specific skills.

BLITZ

1 hour of absolute mayhem! 30 people, working out in twos, threes, up to fives, to complete the BLITZ workout of the day! Guaranteed to make you sweat!

TWC

’Train with the Coach’ – Book on and join in with the coaches’ programming for an hour. Perfect for those who want to compete, want to push themselves against the coach or want to support them whilst they train for competition. Tuesdays are strength based, Thursdays are cardio based!

HYBRID

CrossFit, Powerlifting, Olympic weightlifting, Strongman-tailored training session. Improve your technique and develop strength with this speciality class!

ENDURO

1 Hour of pure endurance work, with a CrossFit twist! Perfect for those who have endurance holes in their CrossFit game, have endurance-based competitions coming up or those who just like to sweat it out.

OPEN GYM

Do your own thing, book on and use the gym at your leisure. Perfect for personal programming, working on weaknesses or if you just don’t feel like doing any of the classes for that day! This is also perfect for those who don’t want to do CrossFit and want to weightlift, powerlift, etc. You’re all welcome at Hexis!

We’re open from 5.30am for the early birds right up to 9.30pm at night. Whatever time of day is your favourite for working out, we have a spot open to suit you. Check out our full schedule below.

PERSONAL TRAINING

Got a big goal in mind or need some personalised one on one help with your form and your fitness? We’ve helped everyone from complete beginners to MMA fighters and BMX bikers.

PRICING

Your first month costs £30 and includes your 3 induction sessions, then it’s £50 a month for unlimited usage and access to fitness apps to keep you on track.
